Highgrove Lamp Base – 3D Model

The Highgrove lamp base was digitally recreated in Autodesk Maya as a bold, decorative ceramic form featuring a stepped, tiered profile and cylindrical silhouette. The model translates the structured geometry of the original design into a clean, production-ready 3D asset suited for premium interior visualisation.

This piece was developed as a collaborative asset, with the wrap-around geometric graphic pattern created by another artist. My focus was on the base form, ensuring accurate proportions, smooth curvature, and consistent surface flow across the upper and lower tiers to maintain a refined, balanced presence.

A custom Arnold shader was developed to replicate the glossy ceramic finish, carefully tuned to support the contrast and clarity of the applied pattern while retaining realistic light interaction and surface depth. Subtle edge softness and controlled reflectivity help the base feel grounded and physically believable.
