Games Workshop – Cinematic Composites for Print
These images showcase my compositing and environment-building work for Games Workshop, created to a standard suitable for high-quality book print. One of these scenes was built entirely from scratch, beginning with photographing the miniature models in a controlled setup, carefully planning lighting, angles, and depth to ensure a strong foundation for integration.
From there, I digitally constructed the full environments around the models, designing landscapes, atmospherics, and additional elements to enhance scale, narrative, and visual impact. Both pieces involved extensive compositing, including the creation and integration of FX such as dust, energy trails, impacts, and environmental haze — all carefully matched to the established visual style of the Games Workshop universe.
Every element was refined to maintain consistency in perspective, lighting direction, contrast, and material response, ensuring the final images felt cohesive, immersive, and production-ready. These pieces demonstrate not only compositing precision, but also a strong understanding of cinematic staging, storytelling, and print-level finish.
